Terms of Use
These terms apply to the mobile apps published by Vertanex e.U. under the DevHue brand, currently DebtSquish and BibleVerse, and to the website devhue.com.
Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Who we are
DevHue is a brand of Vertanex e.U., Ferndorf, Austria ("we", "us"). Full company details are in the imprint. By downloading or using one of our apps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes, as permitted by the rules of the store you downloaded from. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the apps, except where the law expressly allows it.
For apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA) also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, the standard EULA takes precedence for App Store downloads.
3. Purchases, ads and refunds
- Our apps are free to download. Free versions may show advertising.
- "Remove ads" is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. The price, including taxes where applicable, is shown by the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.
- Payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are handled under their policies: reportaproblem.apple.com or your Google Play order history. Statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.
- Use "Restore Purchases" in the app to reactivate a purchase on a new device with the same store account.
4. DebtSquish: not financial advice
DebtSquish is a tracking and planning tool. It does not provide loans, credit, debt settlement, or financial, legal or tax advice. Balances and payoff dates are calculated from what you enter and are estimates only. Interest, fees and changes made by your lender can alter real outcomes. You remain responsible for your payments and financial decisions. Consider speaking to a qualified adviser for decisions that matter.
The app may contain links to third-party products and services, some of which are affiliate links that earn us a commission. We are not responsible for third-party offers, and a link is not a recommendation that a product suits your situation.
5. BibleVerse: texts
All Bible translations included in BibleVerse are in the public domain. They are provided as they are, without any guarantee of textual accuracy.
6. Your data
Content you enter is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups, for example through your device's backup feature. Uninstalling an app deletes its local data. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use our apps or website unlawfully, don't try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to them, and don't circumvent purchase or advertising mechanisms.
8. Intellectual property
The apps, this website, the names DevHue, DebtSquish and BibleVerse, and the associated logos and designs belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep our apps reliable, but we provide them "as is" and may change, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page, with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires it. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data that a reasonable backup would have prevented. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and generally not willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
