Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

DevHue is a brand of Vertanex e.U., Sonnwiesen 3/3, 9702 Ferndorf, Austria ("we", "us"). Vertanex e.U. publishes the apps and is the data controller for the processing described here. Full company details are in the imprint. Contact for all privacy matters: support@devhue.com.

2. What applies to all our apps

• No accounts. You never create an account, and we don't ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• Your content stays on your device. What you enter or save in an app is stored locally on your phone. It is not uploaded to us and we cannot see it.
• Backups. If you use iCloud or Google device backup, app data may be included in those backups. They are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, and we have no access to them.
• Notifications. Reminders and daily notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We don't operate a push server.
• Diagnostics. If you've agreed to share analytics with developers in your device settings, Apple and Google give us aggregated, anonymous crash and usage statistics. They contain nothing you entered and can't identify you.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Free versions of our apps may show ads delivered by Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. To deliver, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob software in the app may collect and process:

• your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and other device identifiers,
• your IP address, from which an approximate location is derived,
• device and app information, such as model, operating system version and app version,
• ad interactions and diagnostics, such as which ads were shown or tapped and crash data.

Google and its advertising partners receive this data directly from your device. It never includes the content you enter into our apps.

• Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before any ads are requested. You can refuse, and you can change your choice at any time in the app's settings under "Privacy choices". The app works the same either way.
• Tracking on iOS. The advertising identifier is only used if you allow tracking in Apple's system prompt. You can change this under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Android. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
• Removing ads. Buying "Remove ads" switches advertising off entirely. After that, the ad software is no longer started.

4. Purchases (Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat)

Optional purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. To verify and restore a purchase, our apps use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA), which receives an anonymous app user ID, the purchase receipt and basic device information. 5. DebtSquish

DebtSquish is a debt payoff tracker for iPhone and Android.

• Your financial entries never leave your device. The debts, credits, balances, payments, notes and reminders you enter are stored locally. We do not collect, view or upload them, and they are not shared with advertisers.
• No bank connections. We never ask for or store bank, card or lender login details. The app does not connect to financial institutions.
• Ads and purchases. The free version may show one ad in the debts list (section 3). "Remove ads" is a one-time purchase (section 4).
• Resource and affiliate links. The app may include links to third-party products, services or books. Some are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy. Links open in your browser. The partner site may then set cookies and process data under its own privacy policy. We don't pass any of your app data to these partners.
• Not financial advice. DebtSquish is a tracking and planning tool. It offers no loans, credit or personalised financial advice.

6. BibleVerse

BibleVerse is a Bible reading app for iPhone and Android.

• Stored only on your device: your settings, favorites and daily-verse schedule. They are removed when you uninstall the app.
• Offline texts. All Bible texts are part of the app and are read offline. What you read or search for is not transmitted anywhere.
• Ads and purchases. The free version shows one small banner ad (section 3). New users start without ads and without a consent dialog. "Remove ads" is a one-time purchase (section 4).

7. Summary of data processed through our apps

Data sent to these providers is encrypted in transit.

8. VenDael

VenDael is a separate web service with its own terms and privacy information, available at vendael.com. This policy does not cover it.

9. The devhue.com website

This website is a static informational site. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking scripts, loads no third-party fonts and has no login. Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc. (USA), processes standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver the site and keep it secure. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

10. Legal bases, transfers and retention

• Legal bases (GDPR). Consent for personalised advertising and the use of the advertising identifier (Art. 6(1)(a)); performance of a contract for purchases (Art. 6(1)(b)); legitimate interests for operating the website securely, fraud prevention and answering your emails (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• International transfers. Google, RevenueCat and Netlify may process data in the United States and other countries. They rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Retention. App content stays on your device until you delete it. We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations. Retention by Google, Apple and RevenueCat follows their policies.

11. Deleting your data

Because there are no accounts, there is no account to delete. You control your data directly:

• Delete single entries inside the app, or use the app's reset option to erase everything at once.
• Uninstalling the app removes all app data stored on the device.
• To remove app data from device backups, follow Apple's or Google's instructions for managing backups.
• To reset the advertising identifier or withdraw ad consent, see section 3.
• For anything else, including requests concerning purchase records held by RevenueCat, email support@devhue.com. We answer within 30 days.

12. Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable age of digital consent), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will help to have it deleted.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change how an app handles data, we will update this page, change the date at the top and describe the change clearly before it takes effect.
